On camera
Catherine Handy
Catherine brings the polish of a New Yorker and the warmth of a New Englander, and she’s proud to call NYC home. A versatile mezzo, she works in commercial print, lifestyle, beauty, catalog, and on-camera projects.
Cathy’s career began in musical theatre, where she performed on national and European tours as Golde in Fiddler on the Roof, Mama and Ensemble in Evita, and Granny and Cinderella’s Mother in Into the Woods. She also played Mrs. Hopkins in My Fair Lady at Walnut Street Theatre (directed by Charles Abbott, 2001–02) and Alonsa in Theatre Ten Ten’s 2008 production of The Tempest.
In December 2025, Cathy had the privilege of singing alongside Andrea Bocelli at Madison Square Garden as an alto with The Dessoff Choirs, under Music Director Malcolm J. Merriweather and Conductor Steven Mercurio.
